The GreenTeam Uni Stuttgart is a student association founded in 2009 that participates in the largest construction competition, Formula Student, with its self-developed electric racing cars.
In 2018, with the support of the sponsoring association, the development of a fully autonomous, also purely electrically powered vehicle was integrated.
The team consists of students from different fields of study and places a lot of emphasis on personal responsibility. The work is done in different "strands" with one strand leader each.
Most of the development and production of the racing cars takes place in our own building at the Vaihingen campus. The GreenTeam shares this building with the racing team Uni Stuttgart e.V. and has space for an office, a kitchen and several fully equipped workshop rooms.
The GreenTeam can look back on a successful past. Since 2010, the team has been continuously in the top 10 of the world ranking list of electric racing cars.
The successful development of the vehicles would not have been possible without the support of the sponsors, some of whom have been with us for many years. Especially the close cooperation and the intensive exchange of knowledge represent a central aspect of the partnership.
The GreenTeam can look back on a successful past. The team has been in the top 10 of Formula Student Electric without interruption since 2010.
